March 2012 Book List

1. "The Sense of an Ending" by Julian Barnes-- This is a moving story about the decisions made in youth and the results those decisions have on later life.  A short read (just right for a two hour flight each way), this book will intrigue you with the questions asked by the protagonist.  You will also be wondering what the people in your life are hiding under the surface.

2. "A Dirty Job" by Christopher Moore-- I've gone on a bit of a kick this month.  I started with this book, and like the lighthearted storytelling of Mr.Moore so much, I've read a few.  His stories in this series are set in San Fran, and he has created some characters that you would like to smack upside the head on occasion, but you are also rooting for them to figure things out and not get killed.  In the world of "Twilight" and "True Blood" it's nice to have a supernatural story that is not a "love" story.

3. "Bloodsucking Fiends: A Love Story" By Christopher Moore-- Again-- see above for the reasons to read this.
