September Reading List

1. Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore-- Irreverent, funny, and totally engaging.  Ever wondered how Christianity has ideas of Buddhism in it? Moore spins a tail that has Biff leaning Judo and the ancient art of tantric sex while Joshua (Jesus) learns the path of inner peace.

2. Island of the Sequined Love Nun by Christopher Moore--  This one is funny, as Moore always is.

3. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen-- Well, I read most of this again.

4. The Odyssey by Homer Translated by Fagles-- And I read most of this again.  I started taking a Coursera class, but could not hang with everything else going on, so I dropped it.  The Fagles translation is a nice easy read.
