Kari's (Olivia's) Quilt

One of my best friends, Kari, had a baby in June, and I wanted to make sure her daughter, Olivia, got a little something before I went back home.

The back has a bit of flair on it.

 

Vicki very graciously let me use her sewing machine and room to get this little thing done.  I wanted it to be girly, with out being super pink or gaudy.  I used a pastel pallet with pinks, greens, and blue to get the look I wanted. 

 

If you look at some of the blue stripes, you will see little red headed wood peckers!   People from PDX put a bird on it!
